Hi lovely daughter of mine. I am gutted I didn’t look at the site before. What a journey you have been on. I think they are amazing. Not sure if you’ve finished three yet. Trying to be objective, I think the horizon works well, the mirror image between 1 and 4 brings them together. Like two crosses with the slim and broad horizontal lines. Mustard seed idea strong. I haven’t got your eye so I wouldn’t know when a work is finished or not. 3 looked pretty good to me as it stood today. Will have another longer look later but its obvious to me God has been in the house love you Dad xx

Hi Dad, I know that three is too much. There are too many piece on it. If there was more 3d stuff on the others it would be fine but, in the flesh as it were, it just looks wrong, even the boy could see that!! So I’m going to take them all off and start again, probably laying a few down top right of the bottom section, if that makes sense. The others are looking good. I’ve lost the cross so the stitching needs to be layered a bit more but I’m so pleased with it, ironically especially canvas four which I struggled with for a long time!!! The varnish has really worked. Just waiting for the kids to settle before heading to the shed again. Love you Dad xx
